Sunshine Perfection

"Style is the perfection of a point of view” -Richard Eberhart
This is the second part to last Friday's post (here) when my niece and I went up to the park a few Sunday's ago to enjoy the sunshine. I know I'm behind on outfit posts, I apologize. Work has been so busy lately that I swear my inbox has had more of a workout in the past week then I have in the past year! I feel like as soon as I answer all my work email and am about to take a break and do a little surfing it fills back up again! Things are starting to slow down again for once though. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It has been raining non stop here since Friday and roads have been flooding closed! I tweeted on Saturday about seeing an Amish horse and bugging as we were driving in the rain- I felt so bad for the horse! He was drenched to the bone. So looking at these pictures gives me a sense of hope that it will be sunny again someday, and I can't wait.
I've said it many times before, but I am a huge scarf person. I found this scarf on sale at Old Navy a few weeks ago and it very rarely leaves my neck. It's so warm and soft- like a blanket you want to curl up in. I also love how neutral the colors are, and how busy the design is. Do you wear scarves alot in the winter also?
wearing: Chaps Vintage jacket (stole from my dad); old green t-shirt; Blank denim leggings;
Old Navy scarf; FredFlare key necklace; Jeffrey Campbell Supply boots (from Gilt.com sale)
I just adore this coat. It's a little big and baggy but is was my dad's coat from the 70's!
It's super soft and perfectly worn in but yet in mint condition! I've been wearing it since I
was in high school (despite being made fun of- kids are cruel!) and love it! It also has
this neat little hidden pocket on the inside of the coat-perfect for hiding things :)
This is the first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I've ever owned and let me say I'm in love! From the moment I slipped them on I knew it was a match. I've been looking for a simple pair of cowboy-ish looking boots for a while now and haven't found anything I like till now. When I'm not wearing my normal business work attire I seriously always have these boots on. They're slowly molding to my feet and getting broken in. Not only are they super comfy but very durable and they can handle my walk of life. I also bought the Potion Sandals/boots but haven't had a chance to wear them yet. I'm also loving the Splendid sandal by JC but sadly everywhere is sold out of the black leather. Maybe they'll restock closer to summer. Do you own any Jeffrey Campbell shoes?

I wanted to thank everyone for their lovely comments on my post about my niece! Your comments truly have been the best part of my day lately and I thank you for that! I hope you all have a fantastic week! Hopefully it will stop raining here so I can take some more photos soon. Got a question for me? Don't be shy- email me or comment me one and I'll be happy to answer :)
