First Time

This past weekend was my first wedding to shot as a photographer!! Okay, I wasn't the main photographer but it was still a lot of fun. My neighbor is a professional photographer and usually takes another photographer with her to weddings to snap candids and generally just help out. The girl that usually helps her was unavailable so she asked me if I would be interested. I was ecstatic but yet nervous. I'm used to just photographing family and friends- not strangers! The couple was super sweet and the wedding was so heartfelt. I had a ton of fun though and can't wait to do more weddings. Right now I'm just basically working on my portfolio, so here are a few images from the day.
How adorable is this little boy? I found him like this playing with the brides veil! So tell me what you think. I've said it before, the only way to get better is to listen to criticism-good or bad! Thanks :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

  3. What flash are you using? You should probably try bouncing it or using a diffuser for softer light.

But good job - shooting other people can be terrifying, you can only get better with time.
