Timmy's Peanut Butter Pie

Whose Timmy? Timmy is my nickname for my brother and this is his recipe that I snagged a few years ago. It's so yummy and tends to find its way to most of our family gatherings. He made this a few years ago and I think I might have eaten one whole pie by myself-it was that good. When he told me how to make it I was shocked and scared. It's really easy, a lil too easy! I was afraid that I would make it and eat it all the time, but I'm a good girl and save it for fun get togethers. With summer upon us and weekend BBQ's in full swing I wanted to share it will all of you so you have a quick and easy dessert to make if you need one as well. I'm forewarning you though- it really is good so don't be alarmed when it's gone in seconds.

Only 5 ingredients and you might actually already have most of these.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter (i use creamy)
  • 16 ounces whipped topping
  • 1 cup confectionery sugar
  • 2-6 ounce Graham Cracker crusts
Beat together with mixer cream cheese and peanut butter
In a separate bowl stir together whipped topping and confectionery sugar
Next beat together the peanut butter mixture and the whipped topping mixture
Spoon into the two graham cracker crusts
Make sure to smooth out the tops.
Optional: you can add chopped nuts or drizzle chocolate syrup on top of the pies if you would like.
Refrigerate till stiff (i usually make the night before I need them but a few hours would be fine)
Slice, Serve, and Enjoy!
What do you think? Sounds easy enough right? If you try this recipe out let me know what you think. A friend just said to maybe try it with chocolate pie crusts...I think I might have to try that. Sort of like a peanut butter cup pie :) Yum! I have no idea where he got the recipe from but I love it. (For a easier to follow recipe see bottom of post)

I hope you enjoy this weeks Food Friday and I hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend filled with lots of fun and laughter. I will be back next week, hopefully, back to my normal self.

  1. Oh, no secrets :))
The best way to get readers is to simply browse through blogs and write comments. Seriously, sometimes I go through like 50 blogs, commenting on their posts - and most nice bloggers come visit back and then if they like my blog, they follow :))
And obviously my current giveaway (I hope you joined! :)) helped up my numbers a lot too :)) But I'm not as happy about the number of followers as I am about the amount of feedback - getting nice comments and stuff, I really appreciate that a lot :))
