How bad do you hate me for slacking on all of my posts lately? If I could bake you each a pie to apologize I would, but I can't so instead I'm going to share with you this uber delicious recipe. I will forewarn you, this pie takes some time and patience to make. The pudding part is made from scratch and you have to stand and stir it a lot. The paper recipe says total prep time is 30 minutes but it took me almost an hour because I didn't want it to burn at all. Definitely make put the crust in the oven and then start the pudding, don't wait. The crust will be cooled by the time the pudding is done. I hope you enjoyed this recipe as much as my family and I did. It's super yummy.
I'm curious to know what this would be like if you used box pudding. I might try it out, but I definitely love the taste of the home made pudding. To see the full recipe please click HERE.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. This weekend is the annual Harvest Fest at the local park with lots of neat crafts and yummy food!
