Work Wear

The one thing I love about my job is that during the summer we can dress more casual and get away with wearing shorts, jeans, etc. Once the students return back to campus it's sadly back to business/work wear for me. I am never looking forward to the return of the students for many reasons including this one. I've been holding on to the last few days of summer before it turns cold by wearing sandals and dressing my business wear down a little with jean jackets and summer dresses with cardigans. I know sooner or later I'll have to pack it all away and pull out the tights and heavy sweaters, but for now I'm loving what I call, Casual Business wear. I wore this outfit to the office a few days ago and thought I would share with you what I've been wearing. I snagged the lace top when I was in Vegas but haven't showed it to you yet. I love wearing it to the office because it makes me feel a little sexy but with out showing skin.
Express Editor pants (here), Charlotte Russe tank, American Apparel Lace T (here in black)
Sonoma (Kohl's) Denim Jacket, Frye Sandals, YSL Arty Ring
Fred Flare key necklace, Alex and Ani leaf bracelet, Jess LC Dream Bigger necklace
I love this new necklace that I got a few weeks ago from Jess LC. The one side is braille and the other side is text. This one says "Dream Bigger" (buy here) and I also have "Be Thankful" (here) but with a blue stone. She has a lot of other gorgeous jewelry that I know you would love so please stop and take a look around her site (here). Sadly I ordered my necklaces before she released the corrected braille, but I still love it and I've gotten so many compliments.
Excuse Maggie's behind in this picture, she was chasing a squirrel!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! What's been your favorite show at NYFW this year? Have you been following? I am so in love with Jenny Packham's show this year. I would die to have a seat at one of her future shows! (Jenny- please invite me next time!) You can go to style.com to see gorgeous photos of all the shows!
