Covered With Velvet

“A throne is only a bench covered with velvet.” -Napoleon Bonaparte

So this is what I wore Saturday when I went shopping instead of this outfit (here) since it was so warm out. I just switched the sweater for this thin weight top I snagged at Zara when I was in Vegas a couple months ago. I love how light this top is and how its encrusted with clusters of tiny rhinestones. I also threw on a scarf for added warmth when the sun went down, and threw on my Jeffrey Campbell studded boots. These boots are the best investment I ever purchased! Each time I wear them the get just a little more worn in and comfortable. The leather is slowly starting to get this distressed look to it that I love.
Sonoma for Kohl's jeans, Zara top, Old Navy scarf, Jeffrey Campbell supply boots (snagged from Gilt.com),
Jess LC "dream bigger" necklace, House of Harlow 1960 peacock ring,
Alex and Ani leaf bracelet and vintage scale braclet
No I'm not wearing any velvet but I loved the quote at the top so much that I just had to make it my post title.
