Soft Pumpkin Cookies

Can you tell I love pumpkin desserts? I don't know why though I never make pumpkin desserts any other time than during the fall. What ever there reason may be I wanted to share with you one of my absolute favorite cookie and pumpkin recipes. These Old Fashioned Soft Pumpkin cookies are so good that I dare you to only eat one! They are soft and sweet but not too sweet, and have just the perfect amount of pumpkin for that yummy taste. They make the perfect snack for anytime of day. I found this recipe and have been making these cookies for over 6 years now, and I've never had any complaints. Just a few tips for when you make them-
     1. Make sure you use butter not margarine. They will help your cookies stay fluffy.
     2. Store in an air tight container-while in the container they might turn a little softer.
     3. To glaze-place cookies on a wire rack with wax paper underneath. This way the icing doesn't pool around the cookies and make them soggy.

I'm so sorry I haven't posted much this week. I promise posting will be back to normal next week. Can you believe next weekend is Halloween-I can't believe it's almost November! Time sure does go by too fast. Do you know what you're going to be for Halloween yet? I think this year I'm going to pass on dressing up. Instead I'm going to visit Philadelphia's Eastern State Penitentiary Halloween attraction-Terror Behind the Walls with my best friend. I have a feeling I might have to wear an adult diaper that night...I'm not good with scary things and well....Eastern State Penitentiary is said to be one of the most haunted places ever! Numerous Ghost shows on TV have even been there to film. Let's just hope I live through it!! I hope you all have a great weekend!
