"The tassel is worth the hassle!"  ~Author Unknown

This past weekend I as I sat in an extremely uncomfortable seat, felt rain drops fall on my head, and nod off during the most boring speaker ever I felt proud and excited. This weekend was not about my friends, family, or myself. This weekend was all about my sister and celebrating her many many years of hard work. This past weekend my sister graduated college with her Bachelors degree. She returned a few years ago after working for many years in the corporate world. She fought some very tough battles, experienced a few schools and climbed many mountains during her years in school but she came out on top with a diploma and degree in hand and her family by her side. I am so extremely proud of my sister and I was glad I was able to be there for her as she has been for many so many times. I fought back tears as she walked across that stage on Sunday. I thought of all the trials and tribulations she had to go through to get where she is. She finished a chapter in her life and starting a very exciting new chapter full of so many possibilities and joyful moments.
