Remember my pink post last week (HERE) when I posted about this pink skirt? For $16 I had to buy it and I am so glad I did. I absolutely am in love with this skirt! It's the perfect bright color and it's so light and breezy for these warm spring and summer days. My only problem is that it's a tad too long for me. I think I would wear the skirt a lot more if it were shorter but love the ease it gives with being long. I do have to say that no matter what it needs to be hemmed. I find that I have this problem a lot with skirts and unless I wear 5" platforms I usually end up tripping on things. Would I be silly if I bought two and hemmed both of them different lengths? What do you do in these situations?

  1. I always wear heels, so I have everything lengthened accordingly...even if it means having a false hem put in! :) Love this skirt on you & the way you colorblocked it here!!

  2. this is such a cute look! i'm a huge fan of maxi's but most of the time i end up wearing flats so the length isn't all weird on me. i think i've only gotten one once that was too long and i ended up tying a knot in it so i can wear it comfortable in flats or else i have to wear heels.
