When I first heard about Timberlands EarthKeepers line I was impressed. Here's a large, well known company doing their part to save the Earth. My family and I try to recycle everything at my house from bottles and cans to newspapers and magazines. We turn lights off when not using them, reuse/re purpose plastic containers, wash clothes in cold water, and even donate clothes to a church group. My family and I try to do our part to keep the Earth green and wearing a pair of shoes from a company who is doing their part means a lot to me. I will admit I was a little hesitant when I got the sandals. Are sandals made with recycled materials really going to be comfortable? Why yes, yes the are! The word comfort doesn't do these sandals justice. I could literally walk miles in these with no pain. They are also perfect for the summer and go along with the nude accessories trend I talked about a few weeks ago.

Timberland EarthKeepers line is a solid go-to for footwear and accessories crafted with recycled and renewable materials that don’t break the bank. Besides these adorable Katama sandals they also offer boots like the Rudston (HERE); heels like the Nevali (HERE); and adorable flats like the Caska Moccasin (HERE). Also, don't forget about clothes! They have some great shirts and jackets, but this Checked Shirt dress (HERE) I would love to have in my closet!

Here's my soap box moment: Do your part. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce. Supporting companies like Timberland that use recycle materials is important! If each of us does our part and supports companies using recycle materials the world will not only stay clean but it will be a better place for us all to live.
