This Crispy Edamame recipe is another wonderful Pinterest find (follow me) that just looked too good to pass up. Edamame is a great source of protein and fiber which makes is a great snack. When I saw that this Crispy Edamame recipe consisted of coating the little beans in cheese and then roasting them I knew I instantly needed to try it out. (You can find the recipe HERE)

Like with all of my recipes I have some tips that will help you get the perfect Crispy Edamame snack.
- After thawing beans, spread beans out on paper towel and pat dry before mixing. If the beans are wet they will not crisp up.
- Put beans in a ziplock bag and add oil and dry parmesan cheese then shake to fully coat each bean.
- After the initial 15 minutes give the beans a stir every 10 minutes to keep them rotated. Roast 'til golden brown - the beans will shrink significantly in size and you will have to cook about 20-30 minutes.
- Eat beans as soon as they are cool enough for you. The beans turn soft if you store them in a container and are best ate right away. Sort of like popcorn :)
If you ever have a question about something with a recipe please, please ask me. I'd be more than happy to answer so just leave a comment or email me.
