I stumbled upon a picture of a Halloween snack mix a few weeks ago and thought it looked good but was lacking some color and quirkiness. I picked up a few of the ingredients it suggested like Oatmeal Squares to give it the Scarecrow texture, but also found a few other fun goodies during my shopping that I make this Scarecrow Munch the perfect Halloween treat. (Recipe at the bottom) I will forewarn you, this mix makes a lot. I filled two large mason jars and four quart ziplock baggies. But the fact that it makes a lot gives you the perfect excuse to gift to friends or neighbors during the holiday.

The one thing I love most about this recipe is that it's all about adding what you want and like. These ingredients are suggestions and are what I had in my pantry so please feel free to play around with it to find the perfect "Scarecrow" mix! If you did make this recipe I'd love to know what extras you added.
