This polish is a dark brownish-purple base with greenish-silver shimmer. My mother thinks it look like a deep eggplant color. If you like vampy colors, chances are you will like this one.
I always start with a base coat-that way the nail doesn't get stained. I've been using Sally Hansen "INSTA-GRIP Fast Dry Base Coat". Only because I'm impatient and don't have time to wait around for each coat to dry. I then proceed with the color.

As with most OPI polishes, "Have You Seen My Limo?" applies easily, due to its nice consistency and extra pro wide brush. However, I find that I need to apply three coats to eliminate all streakiness. When the salon does it they achieve the look I want with two coats. I then follow up with a coat of Sally Hansen "Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat". I've been using this top coat for a year or so and love it!
This color usually last for about three days and then you get the minor tip wear. I usually put a thin layer to the top coat on around day two just to keep the shine. If you ever find this color, which is sadly discontinued, but can be found on eBay, buy it! You'll love this color! It's a great fall color.
