Sunny Waves

"There's no secret to balance.
You just have to feel the waves." -Frank Herbert
Sorry for this post being so late, seeing how my beach vacation was over a week ago. I was not surprised how quickly I climbed into a outfit rut once I was at the beach. Typical daily outfits: pajamas/lounge wear till about 10am, bathing suit/cover up 10am-4pm, then a comfy summer dress till I put my pjs back on for bed.
I was hoping to take more outfit pictures while at the beach but honestly I was in such a great place of comfort and relaxation that I was afraid you would get bored of my daily beach outfits. I did want to share with you this sunny dress that I found a few weeks ago at a thrift store. This dress can seriously brighten the darkest days.
My sister and I got to the beach just as the sun was starting to set, and the tide was coming in. I wasn't planning on getting the dress soaked, but just standing there and letting the waves crash against my full dressed body was kind of liberating and peaceful. It was a warm night with a light breeze and the water felt like a warm bath. After being crashed against a few times I became alive with energy and loved running in the waves. Before I knew it I was soaked...and towel less!
When you go to the beach, do you tend to dress comfortable? I hope you all are having a great week!
