Skinny Girl Margarita

My new favorite drink lately has been Bethenny Frankel's Skinny Girl Margaritas. However, there are two down sides to this drink:
1. It goes down too quick.
2. It's $13.99 a bottle.

$13.99 doesn't seem like a lot, but if a few people are drinking it, it tends to go fast and get expensive. With my beach trip underway I knew I wanted to have something simple and low calorie like this to drink. This led me to an online hunt for the recipe. I remembered Bethenny posting it online along time ago before she hit it big and got her own drink line. A few hours of searching and I found it! I copied the recipe with my changes HERE for you to print and use.
The original recipe:
-2 oz of Clear Premium Tequila (count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)
-Juice of four Fresh Lime Wedges (half of lime = 4 lime wedges)
-A splash of Grand Marnier or BOLS Triple Sec

Combine all ingredients over a glass of ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
With that recipe said here are my changes which I think make the drink taste more like the bottled version:
1. Use Triple Sec instead of Grand Marnier. Triple Sec is sweeter were as Grand Marnier has a spice/biterness to it.
2. Use a count of 4 while pouring tequila and triple sec.

You can print my recipe HERE! I am seriously in LOVE with this drink. It's cheap, easy to make, low calorie with out all the sugar, and so freaking yummy! I have a feeling a lot of these are going to be drank during my beach vacation!

Please let me know if you have tried the bottle version and if you try this version. I would love other people's opinions on the difference.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
